Marc,
When you put them in the Sony you get a "prohibited" warning. Is this a map
with the regions marked out? I have a DVPs 7700, and some discs get weird
warnings, too. I don't want to purchase a converter, and then the sets, and
not have them play!
Also, you mentioned the dreaded 'speedup'...is this the mastering? Would it
exist on the US versions when they show up? (again, why would they use
different mastering for A&E?....) It's all very odd about certain sets
playing/not playing, no cards (unless they were VERY limited to the first
sets), etc.
