I suppose that UFO series UFO's, or Klingon Birds of Prey, could come
in different sizes.

But if working with models, or drawings as in comics, or anything
else than all real physical models and actors, it is easy for size-
scale errors and inconsistencies to get in. I read that in the Dan
Dare space stories in the old UK comic "Eagle", each frame was posed
by actors to check for possiblilty and size/scale; modern comics are
often not so careful.
