Looking at the photos from "The Man Who Came Back" brought several thoughts
to mind:

1) SID sure is one BIG satellite. When it passes overhead it must cause an
eclipse.
2) The helmets on the spacesuits sure look real. That is some nice machining
around the seal area, for example.
3) I have always had major problems with this episode. If the aliens wanted
Collins to kill Straker, wouldn't it have been a lot easier to just have him
pull a gun and shoot him? It would have been a much shorter episode,
granted, but it sure seems like they went to a lot of trouble for nothing.
It seems like they could have come up with some way to explain that Collins
had to be near SID or in space or something for the programming to trigger.
