And how many is "many"? Like I said before, sales of UFO DVDs have
been POOR. Several years ago there was a major fan effort put forth
to resurrect UFO in Australia, and despite begging & pleading,
we got about 40 letters total from fans. Not hardly enough to catch
anyone's interest... and it didn't!
Also, I'd question the timing of it -- science fiction appears
to be going through a lull right now. The Star Wars and
Star Trek franchises are making less money than they used to,
most of the "big" science fiction shows on TV have been
recently cancelled or are about to be due to low ratings
(X-Files, Farscape, Buffy, Enterprise). Even the so-called
"Sci-Fi Channel" is seemingly abandoning science fiction.
Seems like Aaron Spelling would me more interested in
doing "Joe Millionaire 2" than "UFO 2"...
