Greetings -

In addition to penning my thoughts on this episode, I have photographed and
uploaded a file of my own cat with 10 lives, Nefertiti. You can tell she is
an alien by her eyes:

The episode opens with an unusual pan shot of the Moonbase command sphere
that gives a real impression of roundness.

Finally, we get to see some additional Moonbase defenses. It seemed abit
inadequate that this first line of defense consisted of a mere three
interceptors.

The Greenies finally got smart and mounted a major attack on Moonbase versus
taking a pot shot at the rec sphere.

I would prefer to pass on SHADO combat training, thank you.

Which SHADO car is cooler, brown or purple?

Although I am happy that Lois Maxwell was able to get work at the time, I'll
take Miss Ealand in the role anyday. However, this is an interesting
development considering Ed Bishop's part in Diamonds Are Forever.

Colonel Lake was a disagreeable character to me. She is definitely not a
suitable replacement for Freeman. And her wardrobe pales in comparison.

How did they train that cat to slink around like that. I can't get my cats
to do much of anything, but they're still cool.

Interesting how they spell the word "computer" as "computor". Didn't they
have Pentiums?

By far, the most shocking revelation in the series to this point was
Jackson's theory that the aliens are recycled humans. Where are those damned
cats anyway...

End Transmission.

"Imagine a dying planet in some distant corner of the universe. Its natural resources exhausted. Its inhabitants sterile. Doomed to extinction. A situation we may one day find ourselves in, gentlemen. So they discover earth. Abundant, fertile. Able to satisfy their needs. They look upon us not with animosity, but callousness. As we look upon our animals that we depend on for food. Yes, it appears they are driven by circumstance across a billion miles of space, driven on by the greatest force in the universe - survival."
