Hi Mark, Mike and all - I've TRIED really hard to maintain the spirit of the
original UFO, the characters and personalities, the issues, and esp the
mysteriousness of the aliens and their weird gambits in my stories. I also
"try" to follow canon, although that doesn't mean I won't read a story which
doesn't. I feel in fanfic, alot of ideas work and fit (except slandering the
characters and the actors who portrayed them - you know what I mean on this
issue). The main reason I've moved many of my stories into the present (i.e.
yr 2000 and beyond) is because I love the challenge of pitting the
characters and SHADO against the aliens in a more updated time frame - it
give me some interesting options - like cross-overs (which of course could
be construed as anti-canon at times), the usage of real historical events
taking place in the post 1980's decades, updated weaponry and hardware, new
characters et al.

I'd like to support the comics and buy them if possible (I'm in Canada - how
can I get them?). For me, these comics will represent NEW UFO adventures -
something we fans can all use and enjoy!!!
