Excellent point. I hadn't thought of that one before.
Yes, they should have known there was little gravity on the moon compared to
what's experienced on earth. You don't have to land on a planet to know what
it's gravity is; you can figure that out based on its size. (Correct me
anyone, but I think the figure is that the moon's is 1/6th of that of
earth's?)

Does anyone know if GA has ever addressed that?
