The footage of the 3 interceptors being recalled with all their
missiles fired was lifted from "The Computer Affair", hence the
error. With Ford's voice being dubbed, sometimes whilst filming, an
actor's voice is recorded badly (buzz on the soundtrack, microphones
not picking up the voice etc) and the actors have to go into a
recording studio to dub their own dialogue (called "looping").
Keith Alexander (Lt. Ford) was often travelling to the US to do
voice overs on television so was unavailable to re-record his own
dialogue; another actor had to dub his voice instead.
