Also, as long as I'm in nitpicking mode, this passage, too, is
incorrect:

"The show's opening sequence begins by showing the (remarkable for
the time) image of the removal of one of the contact lenses from an
obviously real eye with a pair of forceps".

It (the contact lens)wasn't removed with forceps (which are similar
to a sort of tweezers, or pliers). It was removed with what
appeared to be some type of suction cup gizmo.
