Brian:

I was a member of the same club! In fact, the lady who founded it (and
who passed away in the late 70s-early 80s, as I recall) was kind enough
to send me an open-reel audio tape of the theme, which I always thought
was one of the coolest themes ever. I no longer have any of the
material, but I do recall one piece of fan fiction that had Mr. Spock
in an Enterprise shuttle landing on earth and running afoul of SHADO,
and another in which Straker was sealed into one of those black tubes.
