We took a different perspective on this Mark. Pinewood is an active studio
that produces major movies and, as such, is likely not to want photos
circulating around. Charlie and I just felt privileged to be allowed to tour
the studio and were not offended in any way by not being allowed to take
pictures on the lot. I am sure that they have their reasons and aside from
a few pics of the guests at the theatre and at Heatherden Hall (which is
used publicly as a wedding and meeting venue), we respected their "no
photograph" request. Believe me, it is worth the trip to go see the studio
in person if you can manage it! At no time did we feel that Pinewood or
Fanderson members were making this request because of a superior or
mistrustful attitude. Now if we had managed to locate those underground
SHADO facilities, I definitely would have tried to get a few photos of that!

I enjoyed reading this report as well,excellent.Timelash is my favourite
episode.

What I found rather surprising was the ,haughty,mis-trustful and superior
attitude on the part of Pinewood by not allowing the very few people on the
tour to take pictures of the back lot.
This could easily have been done very discreetly via supervison from Chris
Bentley.
What on earth was all the concern about?
