Dave, I think I've seen that movie about the race to mars. Here in Australia, they used to put all those type movies on in the early morning during school holidays. A lot were b/w. I saw Doppelganger then and Battle beneath the Earth and have never seen any of them since. That was back in the good old days when all the regional TV stations were independent, now they are all owned by the big networks sigh. But they did have Day of the Triffids on Fox classics the other night in b/w. (Now there is a movie begging to be remade, hopefully more like the book) I hope it's a sign they are digging through the archives.
