Oddly enough, some of the effects look even better in HDTV than they do
on regular TV -- there are certain "long shots" in UFO where you can't
really see what's going on a regular TV (on the lunar surface, in space,
etc.), however you can actually see what's going on in HDTV.

I suppose that was a failing of the original effects, since the show
was supposed to be seen on small TV screens, not on huge movie theater
screens.
