Many thanks for the info - especially the photo of Alec. I do wonder though, if he was playing with the ridge left by his wedding ring does that implythat he was once married? Interesting!
On another note - did Gerry Anderson have something against his lead men being married? How many men in his programmes were widowed or divorced. i think that Straker would probably have been a widower if UFO had not been aimed at an older audience.

Also- would Robert Downey be any good in the film?
