Frankly, Yahoo groups was good in it's day, but it's become something of a backwater. It is old, antiquated and clunky.

Might I suggest you setting up a forum of your own, Marc, and you can attach it to the website (Check out PhpBB). Failing that, there are plenty of decent services around that allow multiple threads, HTML text, image and fileembedding etc etc.
