I recall reading in a book that there were some "delightful"
scenes between Ed Bishop (the pilot of a spacecraft) and
the "flight attendants", and someone who had seen an early
cut of the film thought it was a mistake for those scenes
to have been deleted. (although I guess some of that might
actually appear in the movie, but only music can be
heard in the final cut -- no dialog)
