Thanks for the comments on "Battle Beneath the Earth"

By sheer coincidence, being an aficionado of B movies and 70's TV, my sister bought me the complete video collection of "Thriller" for Christmas, a series of one hour 'playlets' written by Brian Clemens of 'Avengers' fame.

Produced by ATV aorund 1975-76, it was obvious from the start that they were vying for the American TV market by introducing at least one American, or occasionally Canadian, into the story to help sell it.

It was full of all the regular ATV stalwarts, along with Anderson regulars and guest artists: Nyree Dan Porter, Peter Dyneley, Stuart Damon, Brian Blessed, Richard Vernon, Gabrielle Drake, Peter Bowles, Anthony Valentine, Catherine Schell, Tony Anholt... and Ed Bishop.
