Basically one of the things with Hempel buying those films was she starred
in
the film Blacksnake made for Russ Myers which was his take on
Blacksplotation
films of the 70's.  And where she got the money is from the fact she married
a
Lord and now runs some of the most expensive and exclusive hotels in London
and
around the world.  I guess she forgot about her appearance in Tiffany Jones?

I think Jackson and Lake were two of the most misunderstood characters in
the
series. Jackson had deep sense of humanity and spirituality, and Lake had a
warmth that was not readly apparent on the surface.

I love some of the looks that Virginia gave Ed!

The series is full of these subtle hints, it really set the bar to a new
height.
