Straker was in dumbs**t mode that day. The look that Lake gave him when he ordered Regan back to duty was telling. She gives him a similar look in The Psychobombs! The lady was not pleased!

I'm a cat owner/lover and I never liked this episode either and that was before I realized that the crew had to have mistreated the poor kitty. One hopes the person that was holding the cat got a good case of cat scratch fever.
