But the difference (in my eyes) between Richard Dean Anderson and Michael Anthony Hall is the fact that Richard was an adult in both Macguyver and Stargate SG1, but we remember Michael mostly as a geeky teen, not an adult.  :-)  Not saying that Michael wouldn't make a good Straker, just saying it might take a bit of getting used to for many of us.

i thought the same thing about the guy that used to play McGuyver. But he did really well when he transitioned to star gate sg1. But I still think he is the best guy. really all he wants to do prove to his friends he can get the girls. my two cents worth. Maybe we can get "Jake" to play Paul Foster.
