I seem to recall that UFO-at least in the Central region in the late 80`s showed the series at about 2 am in the morning of fridays,except for `The Long Sleep`-presumably because of its heavy use of drugs was shown at about 11 pm the previous thursday night.

Hello Marc,
I found the details when checking through old copies of the UK listings magazine TV Times. There are newspaper archives and some of these can be accessed online by members of many UK libraries but they don't generally give episode titles for repeats unlike the TV Times. However those archives would still be useful to check which channels were showing UFO and on what dates and time slots and that is something I intend to check at some point. For example I spotted a repeat of UFO on 11th March 1977 just browsing through one of the archives. I think the deal at the time in the UK was that each channel was allowed to repeat the show twice. The repeats seemed to stop in 1977 before the show was returned in most (maybe all) UK regions from 1986 onwards. I always wished to see the show again but I remember thinking it would never be repeated after 1980 because of the date in the titles - thankfully I was wrong!
