Wales has their own patron saint, Rob and he's called St. David, not St. George.  :)

      Hi Kathy,



St George is the patron saint of England and it's our National Day.  Unfortunately our government (shamefully) doesn't see fit to give us a public/bank holiday like the Irish (St. Patricks day) and Scots (St. Andrews day) get!

However, Wales doesn't get a day off on their National Day (St. Georges day) either.
