Are you asking if we knew who played Colonel Lake or if we knew that
Benedict Cumberbatch is her son?  My son is a Sherlock fan so we've known
about him for some time. LOL

Wanda also did a couple of Hammer movies. I know the name from besides UFO.

I just read a mini biography on Benedict Cumberbatch, he is playing the
villain in the new Star Trek movie. It was saying how his mother is Wanda
Ventham, and I am thinking gee that name is familiar. I read further in the
sentence and it states she was the actress who played Colonel Virginia Lake
on the cult sci-fi series UFO. I wonder if anyone else heard this before, I
certainly was not aware. Pretty cool to see Wanda and UFO mentioned in a
major publication!
