It's terrible news... Yet another of my all time heroes is gone.

Shane's role as Scott Tracy especially in Thunderbirds, and his parts in UFO are embedded in my DNA. He as well as all his Thunderbirds and UFO colleagues helped make my younger life so much better and easier to bear than it might otherwise have been.

A very, very sad day... I didn't ever get the chance to meet him.

My very best wishes to Shane, his wife (Sheila) his family as well as his huge army of fans.... x
