Yes, I thought the Carlton UK DVD commentary with Ed Bishop was particularly disappointing, as I think we all could have imagined a far better commentary than what we ended up with.  

There were 2 more commentaries on the Australian set, and I find the one with Deborah Grant and Jonathan Wood quite charming as well, although that may be a bit obscure for the casual fan.  :-)
