the catalyst

just finished this one.
i thought she was a ghost, until the revalation of her origins, the story was so enthralling, that i forgot the first part entirely and was waiting for the entire recovery of straker to play out, with of course, she, being revealed as the ghost of the girl in the road, possibly. then i thought she might have been an alien spy against the red suited usuals.
kept me on my toes, very good writing.

You're welcome, Jim!  I'm glad you didn't have it figured out.  I've never been one to go in for complex plots and lots of twists and turns.  I tend to keep it pretty simple for the most part.  So it's good to hear that I'm not transparent and I kept you guessing.  Thanks for the encouragement!
