personal I see that any remake must keep the concept and spirit of the showin mind when working on it. Yes I agree that BSG was one of the best remakes of a show. They maintanned the concept and spirit of the show, includeing some of the icons of the show, like frak, and the Lords of Kobolt, etc.
And yet where able to add new things in that may have upset some true believers. This brings me to another point about any remake that not everyone, who love the show will be happy. No matter what they do.
