ufo hardware/timeslip

Interesting to see ufo hardware in other films/tv programs. I have
posted a file with three pics from 'Timeslip' to those who do not know
about the program. Timeslip was produced in 1970 by ATV, The family of
televison companies owned by Lew Grade who's company funded UFO. ITC.

Ah, 'Timeslip'! That was a fantastic old programme, made at around the
same time as UFO, but aimed at a younger audience, I seem to remember
- I haven't seen it since it was first shown. The idea of a portal into
a different time fascinated me; I've always loved that particular theme
in science fiction (it's a staple of Star Trek, of course), and that's
the first example I can remember.

Was some of the UFO hardware used in Timeslip? Perhaps in the part set
in the future, with old CJ from Reggie Perrin?

Check the SHADO "Files" area, there is a "timeslip" folder there,
with some frame capture showing some UFO hardware in it.

(these pictures are .BMP files, so they take up a lot more space
than an equivalent .JPG)

Why don't you knock them down into jpegs and save some space on your website
(easier downloads as well...)????

Generally it's not my policy to delete contributions to the SHADO
files area and replace them with something else, but I suppose this
is a good example of where that should be done. If I find a
convenient moment to do this (and I remember), then I'll do this...

It is done... :-)

This freed up some space on our SHADO files area (which is limited
to 20 MB)
