Awesome.
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=407526933

Didn't say whether it was actually used in any UFO production.
At this price, some pedigree might be in order.

This one is marked "Shado Control" while most are labeled
"Shado". I suppose because it's the command center (duh).

Comparing a shot of a "Shado Control" on Marc's site,
http://ufo.simplenet.com/guide/mobiles.html
the radar unit doesn't look right. Was it a retractable?

I haven't yet seen this particular E-Bay item, but
I suspect this is the Studio 2 SHADO Mobile
model kit which has been builtup and detailed.
There was a great article in the # 44 issue of
Sci-Fi Fantasy Models International of a Control
Mobile model. Same size as the one on E-Bay.

And in issues #40 through 43, there is a kit
review of the Studio 2 kit. I'm almost sure this
E-Bay model, it is not an original prop as most were
destroyed during the series. I suppose one or two
may still be around to tour at Fanderson cons but an
actual Anderson ./ Meddings Mobile would surely
command a higher price than is currently being offered.
If this is the studio 2 model however, it is still a nice
model but it has a few accuracy flaws in its design
but nothing too serious unless your a serious collector.

I think I'd rather make my own than pay that price...
In fact....Ummmmmmmm, Nope, I'll announce that
later... <looking mysterious> 8-

I did some more checking and now I believe this to be
a model made by Martin Bower which was being
offered a month or so ago for $3500.00
