In response, here's my seasonal greeting for you to decipher:

Really only works for English-speakers, though, sorry if it's been seen
before by net vets.

You missed the egret (so did I). Maybe we should upgrade the SHADO
machines from Sinclair ZX-80 era technology...

Best holiday wishes,

(Perhaps 'the small print' on the warranty doesn't cover
the non-sober use of white-shirts and coffee cups/mugs <g>)

Thanks, Amelia!

Joyeux Noel, everybody!

Merry Christmas to you as well, eh.

On December 25 morning, Jean-Sébastien Dussault and I will be discussing
a few Christmas legends and myths (in French) on Radio-Canada's morning
special with
Josée Chaboillez. If you want to hear me *properly* mangle the French
language/have a liguistic experience and you're in transmitter range,
tune in.

Dunno if the show is going out across the whole radio network or even if
it's available over the net, but if it is you'd find it here at the
appropriate time:

http://radio-canada.ca/util/endirect/premiere.ram

The recording was done Thursday, and I'm not sure how they're going to
splice it but I think bits'n'pieces will be scattered throughout the
program.

theme)

Looks to me like one of those nose ring thingies you see on some kids
these days (attached to a chain)...

If you ask me, the gnu looks like he's definitely been smoking
*something* and Bullwinkle, well, he's Bullwinkle.
