A&E UFO DVD Set 1 in local stores?

Hi all,

Since the July 30th release date of A&E's UFO DVD set, I've been to 3
different local retailers which carry a large selection of DVDs. In
each case, I'm able to find lots of Space:1999, Thunderbirds,
Avengers, and Prisoner DVDs, but so far I have not seen a single copy
of UFO! Has anyone else noticed a lack of UFO in the stores?

Marc (wondering if stores are not stocking it, or if it's sold out everywhere?)

Hi Marc,
I just purchased my UFO DVD set-one at Borders Books
and Music. It is a bookstore which is pretty
well-known in the States.

I was in Jand R Music World and I found just one copy sitting on the new
releases shelf.

I know the place I finally found mine was sold out (mine was the last one
and there were several holes in the shelf space above the tag) and another
store had had several copies on order but they hadn't been delivered (this
was shortly after the release and they'd had it on order since it had shown
up in the catalog.)

Hey, look at the A&E store -- it looks like it's sold out, awaiting
more supply on September 2nd!

The video store I usual go to has two out front in the rack(one will be going
home with me next trip) and I guess they have more in the stockroom. Its
Suncoast Video.

In Northern California, I have seen UFO at Borders, Frys Electronics and
LaserLand. At both Borders locations, the UFO DVD set has been in the locked
cabinets that contain the mega-set DVDs. I assume it is available at Virgin
MegaStore in San Francisco, but I haven't been to the store recently.

Just for future reference, James, my son works at Suncoast, and they don't
keep any of their DVDs and VHSs in the back. What they have is what you
see.

Good to hear it is selling . I have mine, got it on Deep Discount. Hope it
sells enough to make them want to do set 2. Usually if poor seller , they
drop idea. I have tape set, but also want DVDs. My favorites (naturally)
will be on set 2. Elaine
