Hi all,
So, has anyone has received their A&E UFO DVD megaset yet? I'm curious what the new individual volume cover art is like... Marc |
Patience, Marc. Patience.
I received my UFO Megaset today from A&E along with Space 1999 Disk 9 from Netflix. It's a Fanderson weekend at TheLynx's house. While this may seem mundane to many folks here, for the first time in nearly 35 years, I can watch UFO whenever I want. I just think that's pretty f'n cool. To top it all off, I passed my motocycle safety course today and now have a Pennsylvania Class M license. Alright, Marc. For the goodies. I've scanned all the outer box covers plus the covers from Disk 1. I didn't put a webpage together, but you can see the scans at the following link: http://www.thelynx.com/ufo/megaset/ Slow ride. Take it easy... Bob --- In [hidden email], Marc Martin <marc@u...> wrote: > Hi all, > > So, has anyone has received their A&E UFO DVD megaset yet? "Imagine a dying planet in some distant corner of the universe. Its natural resources exhausted. Its inhabitants sterile. Doomed to extinction. A situation we may one day find ourselves in, gentlemen. So they discover earth. Abundant, fertile. Able to satisfy their needs. They look upon us not with animosity, but callousness. As we look upon our animals that we depend on for food. Yes, it appears they are driven by circumstance across a billion miles of space, driven on by the greatest force in the universe - survival."

Correct. I will get around to scanning all eight in the not-too-
distant future and advise when online. Bob --- In [hidden email], Marc Martin <marc@u...> wrote: > So it appears they didn't do much extra work on the disc covers -- that is, > it sounds like the first 4 volumes have the same artwork, then the second 4 > volumes have the same artwork?

Has anyone recieved the second Italian box set yet ? I'm curious to
know how it is presented and what it includes. The Deluxe Set 1 was superb. From info dispalyed at dvd.it the second box look a little more mundane, although it is some what cheaper. Has any one any firmed up details of the second Japan box set ? Considering how neat the LD sets were the Jap DVD set was dissapointing. Just curious to find out some info. The Lunadude |

Could it be the "ends" of the box?
The web site has been polished - looks nice Bob! Looks like A&E put some effort into this MegaSet release - too bad they didn't do that originally. I don't know why I felt that they should be called "fronts". They're
actually the sides of the box so I've changed the names to protect the innocent. Thanks for pointing this out. Bob --- In [hidden email], "Anthony D" <ad2003@j...> wrote: > Could it be the "ends" of the box?
