Absolutely not a hoax

It's in the media. I wish it weren't true but it is.

I wouldn't call that "the media"... more like a
"James Bond site".

I am not going to join Telegraph just to read the same story about Ed Bishop over and over. So far I am reading what Fanderson is telling everyone. If this is a hoax it is a very sick one. If someone in UK could send me a reliable source that is not fan centered I might believe it.

I already have a login to the Telegraph; the obituary is indeed
present on their online version. It is one of the most respected
of the world's newspapers; hardly fan-centred.

Although you need a login to read the obituary, you don't need one
to see that it's linked from their index.

Also, the Telegraph article is hardly a regurgitation of the
Fanderson article. For example:

"A non-smoking, non-drinking supporter of CND and the Green
Party, Ed Bishop is survived by his third wife Jane Skinner,
whom he met while dressed up as General Pinochet in a
demonstration against the arms trade"

Seems like his wife Jane had a part in writing that sentence,
and that does NOT appear in the Fanderson article.

Tributes

Paul Foster
In reply to this post by Marc Martin

UFO was one of my favorite shows, and I made a few "Tributes" for Ed Bishop and Mike Billington. Problem is, the "Files-Upload" and the "Photos-Uploadseem to be not working. I wanted to share them sooooooooooooooooooo bad. If you wanna copy, made 'em myself, contact me direct.

Paul Foster

Marc, it is due to Michael's portrayal of "Paul Foster" that inspired me to change my name _TO_ Paul Foster. I wish to God I told him when he still lived. Believe it or not, like the character in the drama, my middle initial is "J".
