Is this one of the good ones that hasn't been frame
cropped?
Also it says region unknown.... Anybody else know the
region? I live in the States....

Dave,

it's in its original 4:3 format, that means it is *not* frame cropped.

I think it is region free but even if not it will have a region 1 code
which means that you should have no problems at all :-)

And there are lots of extras :-))

So far UFO has not been released on home video cropped,
so you are definitely safe there. It's been broadcast
in HDTV cropped, but so far nothing has been released
on home video that way.

And that is the official USA release from A&E home
video.

This is the one I got like 3 yrs ago, the A&E one, from Deep
Discount and I paid $79,95. It's full-screen and the picture is great.

Oh ooops...it is the one formatted for the US region. Forgot to
mention that....

Same set that a place that describes itself as "The North American Headquarters For Gerry Anderson Collectibles" (I won't post the name) is still trying to gouge folks $129.95 (+shipping) for.  Ouch!
