Carlton DVD release info

Keith Carpenter
Apparently the Thunderbirds DVD release date is next month with
8 discs of 4 episodes each.

Danger Man's release date is in June with episodes 1-4.

The Prisoner's date is in August with 4 discs of 5,4,4,4
episodes per disc.

Interestingly the prices are between rumored to be between
£9.99 and £14.99 per disc. Given 4 episodes per disc,
this is a better deal than VHS.

Re: Carlton DVD release info

No mention of the US.
dvd-debate is a UK (region 2) oriented site,
so I assume the release info only applies to the UK.

Marc probably can better comment on this:
Thunderbirds have a decent chance and maybe even The Prisoner,
but I doubt Danger Man will make it here.

It's already been announced that "the Prisoner" will be released on
DVD in the USA -- I think they are due out in the fall. I doubt the
other titles will be released in the USA, but you never know.

I'll be buying the UK Thunderbirds DVDs, and try them out on my
fancy-schmancy PAL convertin' DVD player... :-)
