Complete Book of UFO?

Hi all,

So, today is the official release date of Chris Bentley's "Complete Book of
UFO", so I was wondering:

* has anyone seen the book?
* has anyone ordered it from anyplace which claims to have shipped it?

I ordered it from Amazon UK but as they can't tell me when it will be
delivered I've cancelled it along with a couple of Bond DVDs as I can
get those in the shops now at the same price(2 for 1).

I'll probably re-order the book from Fanderson but only when I know
that people are receiving their copies.

Bought Red Dwarf III on DVD today though but that's for another group.

As of today, I haven't received it....and I'm in the UK! I ordered
mine through amazon.co.uk who are normally pretty good. Also there
has been no sign of it in any of the local shops.

One problem that may well have affected distribution of the book:
there has been a Royal Mail industrial dispute in much of London and
other parts of the UK over the last week or so. Any books being
distributed/sent by Royal Mail may be affected. The Mount Pleasant
Sorting Office in London for example deals with all incoming and
outgoing overseas mail - and this particular office was badly
affected.

The dispute is now over but there are estimates that there could be
a 2-3 week delay while the mail backlog is cleared.

Might be useful information for some of you, especially those
overseas.

I have been trying for the last week to order book from Amazon US , They
will not even let me pre order. Amazon UK keeps bumping me when I try
them. Elaine

As a Canadian, I'd like to be able to order this book for myself and am
wondering if I should order it through amazon.uk or amazon.com. Suggestions?
