Computer Affair

Okay, watched it - finally!

Hmmmm, I never realized before that Ellis says "Good luck, Mark" before
the pilots head off to the Interceptors. That is the only reason Freeman
suspects human error and the only reason Straker wants a full
investigation. It's freeman's fault!

Questions regarding the alien:

The doc says they must "remove Barium compound from his hair to assist
oxygen intake" ??? What the hey? Oh, Tiger says it's "barrier compound"
<shrug> Whatever. Do we absorb oxygen thru our hair? I thought hair was
dead?

They use "one of the new Anodynes" on the alien - is that a real thing?
Anyone know?

Mark is such a girlie-man. LOL! That voice! <giggle>

Straker smiles at the end!!!!! 8-)

Well, not one of my fave eps, but it's okay. Worth it for the smile, I
guess ... ;-)

I know that Ed Bishop is referred to as Edward Bishop in the credits of
several movies in the 60s. In this episode I noticed the opening credits
he is referred to as Ed Bishop, but as Edward Bishop in the closing
credits.

Oh, that's weird - I didn't pay any attention to the credits ....

I am going to have to do my homework tomorrow! Then I may have some
comments.

She is showing her favouritism here I think.

The human hair must be absorbent to a certain degree else how would we be
able to dye our hair?

Yeah it is a kind of cute episodes in part. I like the dinner scene with
Ellis and Bradley and the bit where Straker is earwigging Alec's phone call
at the end. Just watch Ed's face he has such a knowing look on his face. I
like the bit when Ed half looks away and then looks quizzically at Alec when
he says "So when did you find this out?" Ed's face is an absolute picture
for a brief second. Class bit of subtle acting that is!

I think it was just an oversight that the Edward Bishop credit was left at
the end. Ed Bishop sounds so much more laid back and informal. It lends Ed a
better image I think.

Sooooooooo, how would a pain reliever make him talk? And why would it
kill him?
