It's not available on DVD yet. You might check eBay, as complete video
sets sometimes go up for auction there. -- Y PS: Welcome to the group, Simon! simon houstoun wrote: > > hi all > im new to the group, i am looking for a complete set of all the UFO series > either on video or DVD can anyone help? > Ta > Simon -- =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= Yuchtar zantai-Klaan | [hidden email] I am not a number! I don't know what they're worth, but .... well, guess it depends on how many eps per tape, though, doesn't it? I mean, if it's only two eps per tape, they are probably very nice (we have a set copied off the laser disks) ... << i was reading a pc magazine the other day and home DVD production software/ hardware is becoming more available... then we can make our own and rule the world Simon >> ROFL! UFO has never been released in its entirety in the USA, so the only thing you *can* by are copies. However, sets recorded from the Japanese laserdiscs on a high quality videotape at the fast speed *should* look as good as any pre-recorded videotape... in fact, they actually look a lot *better* than some of the official videotapes sold in the UK, because the laserdiscs look so good. If you want the *real thing* -- an original set of Japanese laserdiscs -- then you're looking at spending over US$1000, so $150 doesn't seem so bad when seen that way, does it? :-) -- Marc Martin, [hidden email] (who wonders if A&E's UFO DVDs will look as good as the Japanese laserdiscs) |

In fact they are probably better quality than the pre-recorded tapes, and you spend 26 hours dubbing a set and tell me they arent worth $5.76 per episode. I am not the seller, but I feel his pain! lol AT |
