I was watching reruns of The Professionals (which I
think was shown late at night on Canadian TV as CI5) and there was Ed playing an FBI agent who was hiding a former mob accountant in Britain. Good to see Ed with his black, black hair again. I have no idea when this series ran originally, butI'm sure I could look it up somewhere on line and tell us whether it was before or after UFO (I think it was after but my memory is a bit hazy after all this time. Bob Campbell (Really annoyed that the series will be shown in Britain after he has to return to Canada). __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Hi Robert
This sounds like the episode "Man without a Past". These were broadcast in the UK in 1978. It is available on video and I recently one a copy on Yahoo auctions. (see Yahoo's not all bad:-)) See also the episode "The Long Shot" broadcast earlier the same year. So it was a few years after UFO. I looked in the episode guide, and it turns out this particular episode was originally broadcast in the second series, in 1978. But I wouldn't say that Ed Bishop had "black, black hair" - more a sort of medium brown, if anything! James |
