Favorite hardware, continued

A few threads ago, someone asked "What is your favorite hardware?"

My list:

1) Whiskey dispenser machine in Straker's office. In the future,
bottles are obsolete!

2) Vaporiser (there's one in Straker's office, and one in the UN HQ
scene). At my office we have an old fashioned pre-1980 shredder...

3) Hotel bar telephone which is cordless from wall to phone, but has a
cord from the phone to the handset!

Honorable Mention to the "Voice Print Detector in a Cigarette
Dispenser." I can picture Straker offering a cigarette to a visitor and
the whole office suddenly descending underground.

And speaking of visitors... there's the less-than-compact cassette
recorder in Josephine Frazier's gigantic red handbag. It was so well
hidden that it took Straker almost 3 seconds to notice it.

I'd have to say Miss Ealand's and Straker's Harlington-Straker/Shado HQ phones (obviously cordless) are cool!
And they seem to come in at least three pastel colors! Good thing the Avocado shade was out of vogue by the 1980s.

I like the food/drink dispenser on Moonrise. By the looks of the many
choices...if it wasn't there it didn't exist...loll ..Amy
