I remember asking one of my more loyal American fans of the strip (who says she was once a stage and go-go dancer in a famous American club - and I don't hold ANYTHING against her for this choice of profession) how she thought the punch-up scene might go, as she had previously talked on a pm about a few cat-fights she'd experienced with girl dancers working alongside her some decades ago!
"Afterwards the guys around us said they'd never heard so much bad language coming from two club gals before, and the violence and aggression was so powerful they were loath to step in, for fear of getting ripped to shreds. I had to pay one girls wages for a week as I hurt her so bad! I think I slipped a boot into her lower regions, and she caught the toe!"
She told me she got up early that morning to see if I'd added the new segments of the strip - and she loved them. Many things she suggested for the story I simply could not add... even I have limits!
I might add again that I had plenty of female teachers in my past (tennis again) that when they found out about what I was writing (females in the military fiction) and that a few parts were slightly steamy (it is life after all) they would huff and puff at me, make up things behind my back, while all the time one of them was regularly proof reading my growing novel and could not get enough of it...
You simply can't win sometimes...
I think a lot of virtue-signalling come into it - and more so these days!
I still don't want... (forgot her name) ... getting upset though... You sometimes are not aware of things that might have happened in peoples pasts...

Yes I think I have to agree with you. This forum has a particular style of content, and sensational fiction isn't it... I think I did the best thing and took everything off... As I mentioned before, not many have had the kind of life I might well have experienced.

I don't think the Andersons would think much of my strip... to be honest...

Apologies for seeming patronising - I might have got triggered by imagining I'd spotted something stuffy.

As I mentioned before: I don't think the Anderson's would approve.
Was it a pipe and drum band you were in (lol)

Hi Paramount

I am sorry for any of the grief all this has caused you. I think your UFO strip is an amazing piece of work that all UFO fans (and Dr Who fans) should be able to enjoy. Maybe both Marc and yourself can come to some arrangement (maybe you could create a new thread where you can 'temporarily' upload your images with a warning in the subject heading that reads: 'Warning, some images contain adult themes & imagery').  At least those who do not wish to view the images can easily avoid it. And I would certainly like to find out what happens to Lt Ellis and Niaka in the story
