My name is Wendy, and I am thrilled to find an active list for a show
that I only I was a fan of! I guess my interest was really re-ignited
when I finally bought the complete video set. I'm not into models, just
the stories and the characters.

I'm sorry to here that so many attempts to try a remake of the series
have not come through, But if "Battlestar Galactica" can be revived into
a series that many critics feel are overlooked for US EMMY awards, then
I still hold out some hope that we might see this series return someday.

I found Marc's website and joined this list right away! But I have to
admit, had you not come out of lurk mode on the "Voyage" list, I never would have
thought that a fan base still existed for UFO. Thank you so much!

Yes, we do have a rather active fan base for such an obscure
series! Although in recent years we've had the advantage
of having superb quality DVD releases, HDTV broadcasts, etc.

Actually, my interest in the series stared again when I picked up an
Australian Fanzine at a science fiction convention 5 years ago. The DVD's were a
recent birthday present to myself, and I am hooked again. I am really more into
the show's premise and character's, although watching the effects is fun as
well! I have never been into model's, as I have no talent for anything that
requires dexterity.

Actually, the best eyes I have ever seen are the on the man I've been
married to are 21 years. Ed Bishop was perfect for the role, and yeah, the eyes
helped. :-)
