Gabrielle Drake on YouTube

Hi all,

I don't remember if this has been brought up before,
but there are clips from a Nick Drake documentary
on YouTube, and these clips feature Gabrielle Drake
talking about her brother Nick:

This film was made in 1999.

Thank you for posting this. I have never heard of Nick Drake before, but
when I heard the music from the Utube video's, I knew I just had to have some
of his music and share it with my husband.

I guess this would be time to mention that Gabrielle has been here in the
States recently at the SXSW Festival (that South by South West Festival) in
Austin, Texas as a guest at a showing of the film about her brother Nick, A Skin
Too Few. Afterwards she took part in answering questions about him from fans.
And in related news as they say she is currently doing publicity for the
new album of songs by her brother that have never been official released(there
are pirated copies) called Family Tree as it also has two songs wrote and
preformed by her mother Molly and one, All My Trials in which Gabrielle sings
with her brother.

I recommend a compilation of remastered recordings called 'A Treasury' that was
released 2 or 3 years ago. Failing that, there's a CD compilation from about ten
years ago called 'Way To Blue' that has all the essential stuff. I think that's
out in remastered form now as well.
