Amelia's listing of the Rex Features photo archive gives gives us a
few more excellant photos of Gabrielle Drake to view. But there are a set of photos of Gabrielle you can see on this site that are not listed under her name. A few years ago when A&E was running a Biography of Roger Moore during its James Bond Biography week they showed a publicity photo of Roger Moore in the old model T Ford that sits outside the ATV offices that you see in UFO. In the back of the care are three actresses, a redhead, a brunette, and a blonde. Gabrielle was the brunette in the middle. Looking around the Rex Features site I happen to find this photo was a set of three. To view the set go to the Rex Features site at: www.rexfeatures.com then at the photo search site enter the number 80487. You will be told not found but under this will be a link that says VIEW SET: 80487 Click on it and you will be taken to the three photos. See if you can identify the two other actresses. James K. The other two actresses are:-
Martha Hyer (left) Veronica Carlson (right) I don't think the model T ford is the one in Secret Service and UFO. In fact they've mis-labelled these pictures, they're actually for the film "Crossplot". --- In SHADO@y..., SumitonJD@a... wrote: > Amelia's listing of the Rex Features photo archive gives gives us a > few more excellant photos of Gabrielle Drake to view. I see HLJ are advertising a Aoshima: SHADO Moonbase kit. I'm not sure
if this is a repop of the of the old Imai Kit? I suspect maybe it is, as the image HLJ have is of the [re-issued] Imai kit. I suppose hope springs eternal that it is a new kit. But, if not you get plenty of styrene for your £25 spondulaks, and at that price a slip of the razor saw is not terminal !! If it turns out to be the Imai kit, it does form a good basis for a accurate and IMPRESSIVE model. The original Imai [Doom Centre - as they chose to call it] sells [or did !] for a couple thousand nicker. The Imai kit was briefly re-issued last year complete with glorious and gorgeous box art, just before they went belly up. http://www.hlj.com/cgi-local/hljpage.cgi?AOS31537 Maybe, Aoshima will reissue the Lunar Carrier and Module kit ????? now that would be cool. Anyway if nothing else, it make a change from all the Star Trek crud/crap that is floating around at the moment. Marty............ _________________ Space belongs to the rich....... Aoshima bought all of IMAI's molds. This is a re-issue.

Thanks for the info on the photos. I would have never thought of
Martha Hyer, I always remember her as playing blondes. Now that you have told it is Veronica Carlson I can see the resemblance. I saw Crossplot around 20 years ago and recall the use of the old cars to get away from the villains. So the actresses and the and the car would seem to fit for Crossplot. Good work!! James K.
