"General Stryker" 32 years later!

John
I was reading about the 1996 revival attempt and wondered what Ed
Bishop would look like with the wig and suit on after all these years
later.
Using a recent photo shot at a convention, I was did a little photo
retouching and WALA...the return of Stryker! I'm sure if they ever
made a remake, the make up artists could do a much better job, but
basically the face I used in untouched, the hair sure does bring off
the years,...does the same for Steven Tyler of Aerosmith.

Check out my General Stryker pic in files

Would love to see some sort of revival, maybe even a movie, but to
make it a success, Ed Bishop has to be in it or it will never work
for the old fans.

I have NOT heard anything further... not a good sign...

However, with the upcoming DVDs, a soundtrack CD, script books, and
who knows what else, the next year is going to be the best yet for
UFO fans, movie-or-not!

This is the biggest problem about ever redoing the series, in my opinion.
No one wants a "new" Straker. Who would? I really liked the idea of a CGI
Straker, but I doubt very much if even that will do. *sigh* I guess we
will be forever stuck watching the 26 and reading fun fan fic. Not a bad
way to go out, if you ask me.

I'm OK with it. Why not? It's not the Ed Bishop show. I
reckon Michael Keaton would make a great Straker. Good actor,
too.
