As far as Central London goes, you might try Forbidden Planet,
New Oxford Street, two or three minutes' walk from Tottenham
Court Road tube station. To get there from Park Lane you could
just walk to Marble Arch, take a right and walk all the way along
Oxford Street (about 25 mins walk I should think). It must be
the best place in the West End for sci-fi magazines, models and
so on. I'm sure they'll have a lot of GA items.

HMV and Virgin Megastores on Oxford Street have an excellent selection of
videos and DVDs, so would be worth a look as you are passing them on the way
to Forbidden Planet.
