Got that new Japanese UFO book!

Hi all,

I just received that Japanese UFO book that was mentioned here the other
day. I got it from Amazon.jp, and it took less than a week to arrive.
I think the book only cost $20, but the shipping was about $30! :-/

Anyway, as for the book, although the text is in Japanese, the book is
LOADED with photos from UFO. If anyone has ever seen the rare &
expensive ($200 when new) Asahi Sonorama "Pink Book" on the various
Gerry Anderson series, this is basically the UFO section from that book,
with a little bit extra added. So it's got all those great profile
shots of the original models, plus lots of behind the scenes photos,
etc., plus photos you've likely never seen before ANYWHERE! And, unlike
"The Complete Book of UFO", a large chunk of the book is in color (and
on glossy paper, of course)

If you like photos from UFO, then you'll like this book! (now, I just
wish I could read it, too!)

They show it as being back-ordered, but at least they've got a nice
photo of two of the inside pages:

Marc - I just got mine today as well, and had gone for the lower
cost postage option. Seemed pretty fast to me, in case anyone wants
to order a copy from amazon.co.jp.

Still going through the book but there are some great photos in it!

I just ordered mine from HLJ, and the sent my shipping notice today....total
price shipped was 2980 yen. (To Chicago...)
