It's an American holiday -- sorry, I think some of our American subscribers forget that they are on a worldwide discussion group, and many subscribers don't celebrate this holiday (or apparently even know what it is!) Marc |
Ok right thanks Marc, and well in that case I hope the American contingent are having a happy Thanksgiving.

Its a American holiday.
When the original pilgrims left Europe because of religious differences and settled in what is now the United States, the first winter was very tough, but the Indians helped out the settlers, and with the first feast they had, they invited the Indians to join them. Hmmm... I thought it was a day we got off that we stuffed our belly's to the max then go camping at the shopping mall for the midnight sales for commercial greed.

Guess that a country of 300 million gets more notice than a country of 5 million.

Just think we would all be celebrating if the British would of won the Revolutionary War(lol)! Anyway I believe each Country should give thanks regardless-"WE"as human beings could be like those in Third World Countries that don't have ANYTHING to eat. I'm grateful for my S.H.A.D.O. Brothers and Sisters for having the freedom and luxury of celebrating and being Thankful for what we have and believe in. This isn't to condemn but to remind us of what we take for granted!
