Hi.. I'm new here!

Natasha Bell
Hi Everyone,

I just found this group, and I'm very happy to be a member. I love
the show UFO, as I love good science-fiction! Well, hmmmm, that far
off year of 1980 is a bit before I was born, but that's okay -
doesn't detract from the series at all!

Love
Tasha :-)

Greetings, Tasha!

I'm a newcomer myself, so you're in good company. :-)

BTW, the one thing that irritates me about UFO is the constant in-
your-face about the year being 1980. It was flashed in the opening
credits and is referenced in more than a few episodes. Too bad they
just couldn't have mentioned that it was 10 years in the future. That
way a specific year did not have to be referrenced to 'spoil the
effect' for future viewing audiences such as ourselves!

they thought 10 years was enough. we all make mistakes. i kind of ignored it.
Like Space 1999. you knew it would not be 1999 the whole time. especially
when dealing with space travel. e=mc squared. scott
