Konami SID?

Marc Martin
Administrator
Hi all,

I see from the Hobby Japan website that the Konami kits with the SIDs
in them are already out-of-production. Also, I didn't get a
notification that they shipped mine. Did anyone get these shipped to
them?

Re: Konami SID?

I went on looking into my orders for the 10 piece set (The one with the
Eagle and Hawk from Space 1999) and I set my order to ship as items become
available.

The sets with SID (The three piece set) listed on my order as not yet
released or not available yet (I forget what the term was) but I didn't get
the impression they didn't have any to sell me. I ordered these when I
first found out about them.

When I look at the actual catalog listing it lists OP but it's still on my
order form when I search using my Order Number.

So, does this mean they've pre-sold out of these Konami kits, they've
gotten as many orders as items they planned to stock?

Oh well, this info doesn't help. : - (

Anyone else have trouble ordering on the Hobbylink site? When I placed the
order for the 10 piece SF set I had no trouble ordering multiple
boxes. When I ordered the set with the SID's I had to make several
separate orders to get the amount of sets I wanted.

The official release date of Konami's "Premium Pack" is March 3rd,
and Konami will ship the boxes about 3-4 days before the release date.
So pre-buyers will receice notifications in a day or two.

"Out-of-production" status means "sold out", meaning HobbyLinkJapan
sold out their planned quantities already , which will occur even
before the release date.
In Japanese toy industry, it is common that manufacturers decline
additional purchases by wholesellers/shops - toys must be pre-orderd
in a pre-determined period.

Thank you indeed for that link. I'd seen it a time ago but had
forgotten all about it.

Does anyone know of any filming locations in London that were
used on the film Half Moon Street??
